JOHN DEERE ADAPTERS & SPEARS

  • Washburn Company fabricates hay bale moving attachments to move large round hay bale and large square hay bales. We can build it the way you want it built. Some customers prefer 1 large hay bale spear and 2 smaller hay bale stabilizers,most prefer the 2 large spears so that the bale can be stabbed high, low ,to the right , or to the left of center without having the bale spin over.  Most customers use 39" or 48" long spears for the large round bales
  • We use the 33", 39" and 48" 1 5/8" diameter spears with straight sleeve and cross bolt interchangeably, customers use different lengths for different bale sizes.
  • We also have 4 spears on a 6' or 7' wide frame to move 2 large round bales at once. These can also be used on large square bales also.
  • For large square hay bales we have 3 and 4 spear units available. Most customers use 33" or 39" spears for the large square bales.
  • Toppers are available for moving or stacking 2 or 3 hay bales high
  • John Deere has about 11 different quick hitches and we can build a hitch adapter to use different model attachment on different loader hookups.

  • JD 148 & 158 Loader to Skid-Steer Attachment Adapter Two crossbar design keeps the face of thee latch boxes in line and keeps them from twisting and going out of alignment. Latch box sides are 1/2" thick and are made from grade 50 plate for added strength. The latching pins are designed so that when the latches are closed the springs are bottomed out so that the pins cannot come unlatched. Bushing for pins Grease Zerk in both latching pin tubes Couples the two different Quick hitches as close as is physically possible for maintaining maximum lifting capacity. Washburn Company has taken custom measurements from the customer directly and converted this to the most widely recognized and accepted universal skid steer conversion.
