CHOICE OF BALE SPEAR W/ 2" RECEIVER HITCH
- The spear itself is rated at 3000 @ 30" load center.
- The actual lifting capacity is dependent upon the strength of your receiver hitch.
- 33", 39" and 48" bale spear length option, heat treated tempered spear.
- Spear is 1 5/8" diameter at the big end and tapers to a point
- Adapter to fit a 2" receiver hitch which is about 7 1/2" long
- 7/16" bolt, lock washer, and nut to use in place of receiver pin as your receiver pin is probably too big to go through the spear.
- This receiver hitch adapter accommodates both our 48" & 39" hay bale spears, which fit all of Washburn's superior quality hay hauling and hay bale handling equipment.

Hay Spear for receiver hitch
Product was well made with slag and rough edges ground smooth. Packaging was robust and shipping was timely. Not the cheapest but good quality and value is more important than price. I would purchase again.

Small Diameter Bolt = Not Good
I do not like the small diameter bolt. It is too small in diameter so you cannot replace it with a standard hitch pin. This would’ve made it easy to attach and remove the spear from the 2” receiver as necessary. I understand that providing a bolt instead of a hitch pin probably saves the manufacturer some money, but I would’ve rather just had the spear without a bolt and a large enough hole so that I could provide, and use my own hitch pin. Shipping cost was outrageous. Nice spear

2" Receiver Hitch Hay Spear
This was exactly what I needed to fit my receiver hitch on my pallet fork frame. It is made well and works great! I did spray it down with brake parts cleaner and painted it black to match the spear. Good customer service!

39 inch receiver spear
These spears are the best by far. They fit as expected with high quality craftsmanship. This is the second one I've purchased. My first one is still on the job and I needed a second one to leave at a rental farm. I couldn't be happier with these spears. Out of the box on the job working. The staff is so nice and helpful and the website is easy to navigate. I got several emails and shipping confirmation after ordering and even received my order a day earlier than expected. spear for 2" reciever
very happy with it. Built a plate for the loader to use it. The spear seems to work better than others I have tried. The only thing I don't like is it has to be bolted on. Would be nice if you could use a standard pin.
